Can’t reply to this so I thought I’d post my answer…
“I did one of you black and pink line designs and I had a tough time getting the pink to show up over the black base color. What brand of nail polish are you using? My pink was not an opaque color. Any thoughts?

I used a cm striper polish for that particular look (if it’s the one I’m thinking of.) It has a white base to it so it shows up well. Try to find a white based pink polish or make your own by mixing white polish and pink/red. If that fails you can use white to paint your lines first then paint the pink over top. Good luck.

Hey thanks! I use whatever I can get my hands on. Brushes and polish, brushes and acrylic paint, nail art pens (the squeeze type), dotters, toothpicks. Whatever works best for the specific art I’m trying to do. The only thing I don’t use are the Kiss pens cuz the polish has to be dry. Not the best in a salon setting.
